Two of RuneScape’s premier fansites have both released exclusive RuneFest interviews with members of the team this week.
First up is an interview with RuneScape Community Events coordinator and RuneFest Games Room guru Mod Crow. Platinum site RuneHQ talk to Crow about fansites at RuneFest, doing battle with J-Mods and A Matt’s live 99 bonanza.
Somehow, RuneHQ also got their hands on the first-ever pictures of this year’s games area, which is truly going to be a thing of beauty!

Mod Nexus can generally be seen running around the office with his hair on fire. That makes sitting him down a challenge that requires the clever use of traps filled with cake. After deploying said trap, Sal’s Realm were able to keep him still long enough to reminisce about last year’s event and look ahead to this year. Nexus talks about costumes, architecture, queuing and why RuneFest 2011 is going to make last year’s look like a garden fete.
