Hello everyone, this is a Godwars Dungeon Guide (GWD) explaining all aspects of killing each of the 4 bosses at GWD. By the end of this guide, you will know what armour to bring, how to kill, and the best inventories & setups for GWD.

This guide was make entirely by Heriing & SheerDefence, we hope it helps!

Each section of the guide is set out in alphabetical order, so to look for Armadyl go to the top, and Saradomin 2nd from the bottom.

---Armadyl's Eyrie---

(Note: Requires 70 Range to enter. You also need a Mithril Grapple and a rope for your first time there.)

This guide will only talk about RANGING Kree'arra as he is an Aviansie, and therefore flys - this means he is too high to melee.

Recommended Levels for a Team of 3+:

80+ Range
80+ Defence
85+ Constitution
70+ Prayer (60 will work, but is NOT recommended)

Equiptment Setup:

Melee Barrows Helm/Helm of Nietiznot
Black Dragonhide Body (Armadyl Chestplate if you're willing to risk more)
Black Dragonhide Chaps/Verac's Skirt
Amulet of Fury/Glory or a God Stole (Other than Guthix)
"Barrows" Gloves
Snakeskin Boots (Ranger Boots if you can risk more)
Ring of Life (Important, could save you alot of money!)
Rune Crossbow
Diamond Bolts (e) or Ruby Bolts (e); not as preferred as Diamond bolts (e)
Dragonfire shield (or another shield with good Defence bonuses)
Ava's Accumulator
An item of Armadyl (Needed when getting a 40 killcount)

Inventory:

A one-click teleport item (Preferably a Teleport to House tab that teleports you into your house so if you teleport then die you don't have to worry about a gravestone)
Summoning familiar (If it can hold items, fill it entirely with Super Restores/Saradomin Brews, 1 Super Restore for every 3 Saradomin Brews)
Fill your inventory with Super Restores/Saradomin Brews with 1 Super Restore for every 3 Saradomin Brews
Less expensive Bolts to kill minions with (No lower than Broad-Tipped Bolts)
If you have any leftover inventory space for whatever reason, fill it with Ranging Potions and/or sharks.

The Battle:

When your team is ready to go in, put on these prayers:

Protect from Range
Eagle Eye
(Optional) Protect item

Kree'arra usually attacks with Range, aswell as this he casts Magic spells that can hit up to 600. He also has a stun type effect on his range, which will knock you back every once in a while, to counter this try to stand against a wall, it may block some of the attacks. If you can it would be sensible to try get some of the sergeants stuck behind him while attacking, this should prevent some damage while killing Kree'arra. Make sure to keep an eye on your prayer, and keep it above 15-20 at ALL TIMES, if it was to run out teleport away as you could die drinking and turning you prayer back on. If needed use the altar in the chamber, but there is a wait before you can recharge your prayer at the altar again. While fighting, as well as watching your prayer keep a strong eye on your Constitution level, and heal according to how much damage you are taking. (Try to avoid dropping below 650-700 Constitution)
Once Kree'arra is dead focus on killing the Sergeants, and use the relative prayer for each of them. With 3 people in the team have one person kill each of the 3, or you could all pile the same one to try to kill each sergeant faster.

---Bandos's Stronghold---

(Note: Requires a hammer to enter EVERYTIME.)

This guide will only talk about using MELEE against General Graardor, as it is usually much more effective against him.

Recommended Levels for a Team of 3+:

85-90+ Strength
80+ Defence
80+ Attack
80+ Constitution
70+ Prayer (60 will work, but is NOT recommended)

Equiptment Setup:

Melee Barrows Helm/Helm of Niezitnot
Bandos Chestplate/Melee Barrows/God D'hide
Bandos Tassets/Melee Barrows/God D'hide Chaps
Amulet of Fury/Amulet of Glory
Armadyl/Bandos Godsword/Abyssal Whip
Bandos Boots/Dragon Boots/Rune Boots
Ring of Life
"Barrows" Gloves/God Vambraces
Skillcape (t)/God Cape/ Fire Cape
Dragonfire Shield/Any Shield with good Defence bonus

Inventory:

A one-click teleport item (Preferably a Teleport to House tab that teleports you into your house so if you teleport then die you don't have to worry about a gravestone)
Summoning familiar (if it can hold items, fill it entirely with Super Restores/Saradomin Brews, 1 Restore for every 3 Brews OR Sharks)
Super Set
Hammer
The rest Super Restore Potions and Saradomin Brews (You could also use Sharks if you have a Summoning Familiar - I use sharks instead as they are much cheaper and work almost as well)

The Battle:

When your team is ready to go in, everyone apart from the TANK put on these prayers:

Protect from Magic
Protect Item (Optional)

The Tank should put on Protect from Melee and be the first player in the team to attack General Gaardor. After General Gaardor starts attacking the Tank the rest of the team should join in by also attacking him. As General Gaardor is one of the easiest bosses to kill in God Wars Dungeon it should not take too long to down him. After you have done so make sure to also kill his Guardians. There is no perticular order of preference to kill them in Bandos's Stronghold, although some say it is easiest to take out the mage and range guardians before melee. If your prayer is running very low you could use the alter in the chamber, but be aware it takes around 10-15 mins to be re-useable so use it wisely.

When getting the 40 Killcount, it is best to train on the Goblins outside Bandos's Stronghold as they are very low level, and no food is needed to kill them.

---Saradomin's Encampment---

(Note: Requires 70 Agility to enter. It is best to use the two ropes before you come here for an actual trip, as to save yourself 2 inventory spaces)

This guide will only talk about RANGING Zilyana, as it is usually much more effective against her.

Recommended Levels for a Team of 3+:

80+ Constitution (as to not get KO'ed)
67+ Summoning (For War Tortise Familiar, Terrorbird will also work)
80+ Range
80+ Defence
70+ Prayer (60 will work, but is NOT recommended)

Equipment Setup:

Melee Barrows Helm/Helm of Nietiznot
Black Dragonhide Body (Armadyl Chestplate if you're willing to risk more)
Black Dragonhide Chaps/Verac's Skirt
Amulet of Fury/Glory or a Stole (other than Guthix)
"Barrows" Gloves
Snakeskin Boots (Ranger Boots if you can risk more)
Explorer's Ring 3 or Archer Ring
Rune Crossbow
Diamond Bolts (e) or Ruby Bolts (e); not as preferred as Diamond bolts (e)
Dragonfire shield (or another shield with good Defence bonuses)
Ava's Accumulator

Inventory:

A one-click teleport item (Preferably a Teleport to House tab that teleports you into your house so if you teleport then die you don't have to worry about a gravestone)
Summoning familiar (if it can hold items, fill it entirely with Super Restores/Saradomin Brews, 1 Restore for every 3 Brews)
Fill your inventory with Super Restores/Saradomin Brews with 1 Restore for every 3 Brews
(optional) Abyssal Whip if you feel you can kill the minions faster with Melee, but be sure to Range Zilyana
If you have any leftover inventory space for whatever reason, fill it with potions to boost your range level or sharks.

The Battle:

When your team is ready to go in, put on these prayers:

Protect magic
Eagle Eye
Protect Item

Zilyana has an extremely powerful melee attack, and her magic attack isn't worth tanking (because you will die if you protect melee instead of protect magic). If you are hit by her melee attack, your job is to keep Zilyana following you (but don't get hit by her melee attack) while your teamates attack her. Your best bet is to run around the room clockwise, attacking her if you get the chance. When she goes to attack someone else, then they have the same job; run around the room as to not get hit, and let his/her teamates attack Zilyana. If you find that you need run energy, bring a Spirit Terrorbird with Tireless Run Scrolls. Continue this method until Zilyana dies. If needed, use the altar, but be aware there is a wait before you can recharge your prayer at the altar again.
You then take out her commanders. There is no specific order needed to avoid death; just use the method that works best for you.

---Zamorak's Fortress---

Note: 70 Constitution is required to enter. A light source (bullseye lantern) is suggested if you have a hard time seeing in dark places on RuneScape, as the area leading to the main chamber will become increasingly darker.

This talks about MELEEING K'ril. If you wish to use range, a setup similar to the equipment used for Saradomin's Chamber will work nicely. This is also assuming you are on a team of 3+ people.

Recommended Levels for a Team of 3+:

80+ Attack (85+ If your Defence is below 75)
80+ Strength (85+ If your Defence is below 75)
80+ Defence (90+ If your Attack/Strength are below 75)
80+ Constitution (as to not get KO'ed suddenly)
70+ Prayer (60 Prayer will work, but is NOT recommended)

Equipment:

*This is assuming you have the stats recommended that are not in parenthesis.

Barrows Melee Helm
Karil's Top or Black D'hide body
Karil's Skirt or Black D'hide chaps
Godsword of your choice, preferably SGS
Amulet of Fury/Glory
Skillcape/Fire Cape/Soul Wars Cape
"Barrows" Gloves
Dragon Boots or Rock Climbing Boots
Ring of Life/Wealth/Explorer's Ring 3/Warrior's Ring

If you have 85+ Attack/Strength and lower than 75 Defence:

(Note: This only mentions the armor/weapons that change. Not any armor/weapons that stay the same as the previous setup.)

Helm of Nietiznot
Bandos Chestplate/Barrows Melee body armor
Bandos Tassets/Barrows Melee leg armor
Dragon Boots are now a MUST
Fire Cape or Soul Wars Cape

If you have 85+ Defence and lower than 75 Attack/Strength, use a setup similar to the first setup mentioned. You may wish to change the armor slightly if you are tanking and to maximize your Defence Bonuses. You may switch the Godsword with an Abyssal Whip and Dragonfire shield.

Inventory:

One click teleport. Teleport to House tab is recommended
Super Antipoison (4)
2 Prayer Potions (4)
Super Restore (4)
Saradomin Brew (4)
Super Attack (4)
Super Strength (4)
Sharks for the rest of your inventory

Alternatively you could use the Saradomin Brew/Super Restore Method, but if you do, bring one less Prayer Potion.

The Battle:

Before entering the main room, you'll notice your prayer was drained. Drink these potions in this order to help you the most:

1 dose of Saradomin Brew
2 doses of Super Restore
1 dose of your super Attack and super Strength potion

Then activate these prayers:

Protect Melee
Piety/Chivalry
Protect Item (Optional)

When you enter, everyone's focus should be on taking out K'ril. Be careful, as using too much prayer against him will allow him to hit through your protect prayer and hit with extra damage (up to 530 life points). You can get poisoned, so be sure to drink your super antipoison when needed. After K'ril is dead, kill either the range minion or mage minion, then the melee minion, and then the last minion you didn't kill.
