Hey,

Whenever I try to load RuneScape through the client, it gets stuck (blocked) when it's connecting to the update server. After a few minutes, it crashes. (This also happens when I try to play RuneScape the normal way).

Could this client be fixed to connect to the update server in some other way?

I found out that my school blocks port 43594 & that keeps RuneScape from updating.

Could I configure this client to connect through another port, or is that impossible?

i doubt that your school specifically blocks port 43594..

maybe you don't have enough priviliges to save runescape cache files in your C:\Windows directory. Try running runescape in unsigned java mode

I already tried that, but that doesn't work

I can't open Funorb games neither, or the new War of Legend game. They all get 'blocked' at connecting to update server

I dont think I can do anything about it, but if gets stuck at loading, that means java encountered an unexpected error otherwise jagex would've coded something in to handle those types of errors.
Check your java console

Google learnt me that it's the school firewall that is blocking port 43592.

I will attach the java console log the next time i can go on the pc's at school

I checked again today & there is no error log. The only info I get when RuneScape crashes, is that RuneScape itselfs tells me to unblock port 43594
